Velveteen Dream and others listed on NXT injury report: WWE Now, Sept. 19, 2019

Hey, this is Matt Camp for WWE NXT now. The thrilling premiere of NXT Live
had us on the edge of our seats, and we have the latest injury
updates on the superstars after last night’s exciting action. During a match against Damian Priest
before NXT went live on the USA network, Kona Reeves suffered a strike to
the cheek that required five stitches. Reeves might have orbital bone bone
damage and he will be evaluated once the swelling goes down,
he is currently not cleared for action. Arturo Ruas needed an x-ray on his fingers
after his match against Pete Dunne. He is awaiting the results and
is yet to be cleared. In a hard-hitting contest, Roderick Strong
defeated Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Championship. According to a report from Full Sail, after the bout,
Dream was seen walking gingerly backstage. He has lumbar pain and
won’t be cleared until further evaluation. Killian Dane and Matt Riddle brawled all
over Full Sail live but neither man showed up on the injury report provided to
WWE Digital on Thursday morning. They’re both technically cleared for entering action before heading into
another collision course next week. Make sure to stick with WWE’s digital and
social channels for any further updates ahead of next Wednesday when NXT goes
live on the USA Network at eight, seven central.
